The Dentist Program policy for Washington and Oregon dentists includes essentially the same coverages, limits, terms and conditions as the current “standard” dentist professional liability (dentist malpractice insurance) insurance policy used in the Pacific Northwest. The policy is structured as a “master” policy for WHI or OHI, such that each dentist is endorsed as a separate Named Insured with separate limits and coverages. The master policy has the following features:
- $1M/$5M policy limits (higher limits available upon request)
- Claims made coverage
- Governmental regulatory body defense coverage
- Consent to settle
- Prior acts coverage available
- Complimentary tail coverage upon retirement, disability or death
- Optional employment practices liability
