Claims management services for The Dentist Program are provided by CHI’s wholly owned subsidiary, Optima Healthcare Insurance Services (Optima), and are included in your dental professional liability premium. An Optima Healthcare Insurance Services claims specialist will be assigned to you and will be responsible for working directly with any dentist facing a claim. Optima Healthcare Insurance Services claims staff responds quickly, believing that early intervention will reduce costs, and that a proactive, strong, defense-minded approach to the resolution of claims will produce the best results for owners.
